Summary: Equinix will be conducting scheduled maintenance on the backup power generation infrastructure at the ME1 facility. This proactive maintenance is being carried out in collaboration with vendors and manufacturers to ensure continued system reliability and improve operational efficiency.
Service Impact: Power Systems: - Loads will remain on utility power. - UPS-protected equipment will continue to run on their primary UPS source. - Redundancy of the power systems will be temporarily reduced during the works.
Cooling Systems: - Cooling system redundancy will be maintained. No impact to environmental systems is expected.
Additional Information: - Maintenance will be carried out on one system at a time, minimising risk to customer services. - This work is not expected to cause any interruption to power delivery, though reduced fault tolerance may exist while redundant systems are serviced.
Customer Action: No action is required. Services are expected to remain unaffected, and our operations team will monitor all systems throughout the maintenance period.
